My printer jammed/backed up with about 2hrs worth of filament. I gently tried to fix it by heating my nozzle up and taking all the filament off but reddit is saying I basically burnt the wiring. Maybe theres a fix?
Damaging the wiring, heater or temperature probe is indeed possible if itâs been backed up and insulated by plastic that long. They are however very affordable replacement parts to get individually once you know which.
However I wouldnât jump to the conclusion right away, you can get an error like on screen with something as simple as a single connector being loose. If it where mine Iâd take it apart and look/clean, if its a connector or wiring issue it will be very visible on that part when you do (be easy to miss as an assembly), the temperature probe can also be easily tested outside of the printer if you have a multi-meter, but if not your up for ensuring its signal path is good and trusting the printer. The one thing to avoid is telling it to heat if you donât trust that its accurately showing the temperature (and note it currently reads âerrâ for âerrorâ), otherwise you can pretty much test each function.
As for adding multiple images, it works for me on windows desktop just dragging and dropping, but I donât know if its possible from a phone.
