I actually just changed the nozzle it looked like I didn’t have to unscrew the teflon tube lol
but I will figure out the rest as I go! Thanks anyways
I tried with many different temps between the recommended range and it seemed to be working completely fine for nearly two months then there was something going wrong and finally it didn’t go back to normal.
Now, I’m assuming there could be the following reasons of
- The nozzle was maybe too close to the hotbed 2. Extrusion temperature as you said… and also 3. not yet sure but the possibility of centre of the extruder not being placed in the right position like the repairman said
I think once I finish reassembling I will have to check again! Thank you
Hi Eddawned,
Thanks a lot for your suggestion.
ah I think there could have been more than one screw… I must’ve missed something.
In the end, I just changed the nozzle instead of unscrewing Teflon tube because the Teflon has just been replaced last week.
Thanks!
In the worst case, you can change the complete extruder, it’s not expensive.
Then you will have to redo the leveling of the bed and the alignment of the extruders.
At least you will be sure of the material.
You can always use your old extruder to practice taking it apart.
To be honest, that’s what I did during my first extruder problems and I learned a lot that way.
About practizing with the old extruder: I’ve saved the one I’d broken for just that reason. Gave it to my wife telling her: “Try to disassemble, if first time you’re below 30 minutes you’re good”. Hmpf. Never again. She did not use any tutorials, only 3 sizes of allen keys and a plier. Took her 12 minutes. I have the wrong job
Or your wife is smartest than you
that is without question
