Heated table crackling in the first tests

Hi, I’m a total beginner. My first printer.

I have two main doubts.

The first is that noise that the table makes when it rises in relation to the front of the printer, when it goes backwards.
When it moves forward it doesn’t make any noise.
The noise is most notable when calibrating.

Another thing is that while I was calibrating, filament ran out of the extruder without me putting it in, sovol testing it or was my printer used before me?

The manual describes how to check and (if necessary) adjust the bed (and other parts of your printer). You should do the checking, to verify that the printer is correctly assembled and adjusted.

Yes, it is normal for Sovol (and I guess all other companies who make 3D printers) to test the printer before shipping it. So it is perfectly normal to have plastic in the hotend.

Another tip: the filament supplied with the printer can be very bad. If it doesn’t work, test with different filament.

Thank you for all your willingness to help a real noob!
I was able to calibrate it acceptably to print with the PLA I received from SOVOL.
The clicks still happen when the table moves to the corners outside of printing, when I cancel a print, for example.
During printing, everything was normal.

Hello,
Have you tested to print a complete model ?
Maybe the noise is normal.
