Hi, i’m into 3d printing for about 2 years now and never had to troubleshoot Clogging problems, but here i’m ^^
History of the thing : i’ve printed an object who was a totally mess (pla) and had to replace my bltouch pin. after that, i could not print correctly and found out that there was probably something with the flow. So i opened the print head, released the nozzle and have successfully (haha i think not) unclogged it. All was done right, with a high temp (230 C) and i replaced all the stuff where it belongs.
Still, no pla is going through the system, so i used a pin to go through the nozzle and found out it was really difficult. Pushed trough hard and some filament passed really well. Added some strokes, and now the nozzle goes in the nozzle like butter. But still, the filament can’t go through.
I also tried to get a really a high temp (250) with no result., no drooling.
How can i find out what is going on ? have i to buy some nylon filament ? I think it won’t pass.
I had horrible problems on my SV01Pro. The filament tends to stick inside the “post” below the feed rollers and the top of the heat break. The extruder is difficult to strip down far enough to use a heat gun on. If you remove the nozzle you can use a drill bit from the bottom. Use care to stop drilling BEFORE you damage the feed rollers.
After the 3rd time I had to resort to the drill I obtained some 3mm OD x 2mm ID stainless tubing. I drilled out the passage and put the tubing inside. 2 years later I’ve not had a clog I couldn’t “pull”.
Hallo Mono,
meine Empfehlung: Eine neue Druckdüse besorgen & verbauen.
I’ll probably give it a try, i could learnt a lot of it I’ll search what i’ve to buy and will share it here to know if i’m doing right, before to buy the parts.
I’ve found spares form my package and already have a nozzle. Are we okay that this what i’ve to change, and add a PTFE-tube in replacement of the old one.
