Brand-new SV06 ACE, no movement in the X-axis

I’ve just finished assembling it and ran it’s start-up routine. Noticed that it never moved on the X-axis. Checked the belt tension and the connector to the X motor. All looks OK but still no X movement when I operate it from the touch screen. Y and Z controls work fine.

Found it! A short, 4-conductor cable running from the camera unit had come unplugged from the socket just above the belt tension knob. Wasn’t really obvious…

glad you got it sorted out.

In most cases, this means that the X-axis stepper motor is not receiving power or signals. The problem is that the motor cable is not connected tightly to the board. You can try disconnecting and reconnecting the X-axis motor cable to the control board. Then restart the computer.

il y a un bloc de mousse entre le châssis et la plaque chauffante du plateau, il faut la retirer

Translation:

There is a foam block between the frame and the heating plate of the tray; it must be removed.
