Hello, I purchased an SV06 plus ACE a few weeks ago and have been really enjoying it. On large, flat prints, it appears the extruder keeps running into the print, but only on the rear right side quadrant. I’ve adjusted the bed screws and run a few meshes to get to 0.142mm of variance, but it hasn’t helped. I’m using Orcaslicer and have done all the calibration tests as well. Been sure to do a Z-tilt before printing, with no improvement.
Can you place the model to the right rear of the heated bed for printing? I will ask the technician to check what the problem is.
There is a thread about a few users that replaced the rubber tubes under the plate with PTFE tubes so they would squish a little…but I can’t find the thread right now…maybe someone else can find it.
Hello,
I think the thread you are referring to concerns another printer, probably not ACE.
Yes, I’ll print something tomorrow (2/10/26) to test
I did buy some spacers to go under the bed screws, and that certainly got my bed level closer to 0 but I’m still seeing the issue. Appreciate the idea though!
Hello,
Can you show us the mesh of your bed?
So I actually managed to fix this with some G-code editing. I inserted a command to do a Z-tilt, then bed mesh level into my “start print” macro that runs AFTER the G28 home command. Seems to have cleared the problem up!
