Bad Oozing/Stringing on SV06

The test prints in the image above use the 0.2mm detail mode in prusa slicer

I recently got a SV06, my first 3D printer, about a month and a half ago. About a week ago I started to find really bad oozing/ stringing on all of my prints (PLA), to the point that any functional prints are basically unusable. So far what I have tried is:

  • Cleaning the nozzle, inside and out, using a damp cloth and the metal needle tool that came with the printer.
  • Drying the filament. I had two rolls that I was using for the current print, so I used a DIY Dryer to dry both rolls, each on 70 degrees celcius for 4-10 hours.

Neither of these have worked. What should I do next?

I don’t use Prusa Slicer, so I can’t help there.
Your retraction pic didn’t show, for you to get an idea here are the retraction settings in Cura.

I noticed in your filament pic, you didn’t have an Idle Temp set, set it to 185*.

Hello,
The link of the settings picture is broken.
Could you repair it ?
For this type of problem, it is often the temperature or retraction settings that need to be fixed.

Btw, you might be able to find Prusa config files for the Sovol SV06+ on Printables.

Hello,
I can’t give you the right settings for your printer and your filament because it is specific to each configuration.
Nevertheless, I can give you an advice.
If you want to use Prusaslicer, you can also use Superslicer, which is a fork of Prusaslicer, and which includes a comprehensive, highly efficient calibration system that guides you in determining the correct settings for your equipment.
Have a nice day.
