Adjusting timelapse interval on SV06 ACE – how to extend final video length?

Hey everyone!
I’m using the SV06 ACE for ~3‑hour prints, but the built‑in timelapse ends up being just 1 second too fast. Any tips on where to adjust the frame capture interval or video frame rate? I’d love a longer timelapse, around 15–30 seconds. Thanks!

Typically the time lapse takes 1 frame/layer so the print head can be moved to not be in front of the model.

You can specify a time based capture rate but then half of the frames are close up shots of the printhead.

The quick and dirty solution is to edit the metadata of the finished timelapse and change the frame rate. Not all players support all frame rates so sharing videos might be a problem.

3 other solutions come to mind:

  1. post process your video to create a “slowmotion” version.
  2. decrease your layer height (will also take longer to print).
  3. Rotate your model so the long axis is aligned with the Z axis. You may have to enable supports.

There is an option on the far right after the timelapse to download the RAW Frames.
You can load them into a video program & set each frame to maybe 3 seconds.
