Zero not booting

Fitted the replacement. Still not completing boot, but a different error now.

This printer is challenging. Any suggestions? I swapped the EMMC module over for the other one. Error is the same with both modules.

On the plus side, the screen doesn’t go red, now.

Remembered there was another EMMC module, so I’ve tried that, & it’s booted. I think this is the original module which came with the printer, so I’m just running calibration, & then I’ll try an OTA update.

It appears to be up & running. Going to try a test print, shortly.

It’s running its first print. Everything appears to be working fine.

Thanks for all your help on this matter. Nice to finally have it up & running.

Your other 2 EMMCs seem to have KIAUH pointed at a non Sovol repo. You should erase them if you are happy with Sovol’s version.

With Sovol no longer using the loadcell in favor of Eddy tap… As far as I know you could flash the MCU’s and go mainline. Lots of macros to edit to complete the conversion though. AFAIK no one has done it yet

I’m not that adventurous. Stock is fine for me.

Then be sure to clear the spare EMMC modules so you don’t forget and reinstall one a year from now and expect it to work.

Personally I’d use etcher and the Sovol restore image on one. That way it is ready to go.

One of those two was the Sovol image, flashed to a new module.
