X crashes when homeing

My X is trying to home and all it does is crash into the left side and crashes and buzzis like crazy ! Any ideas whats up ?

Hello,
Have you checked the belt tension and whether the stepper motor is free to move?

Yes its at the right tension , Ive been told to check the sensorless homing and for X its 86 just like my other SV06 which has no issues !! They said reduce it to 70 and work up with increments of 10 , which I do , but its the same , when I go back to sensorless settings its back to 86 again !! And ofcourse still crashing !

And then I thought to myself !! Just a minute what are the settings of your other SV06 !!! And bang !!! The driver current was all wrong ! And I didnt even know I had one of those so it couldnt have been me ! But who gives a monkeys I dont becuase it works !Alterd to the same setting and bang !! I hope this helps someone else ! Thank again Mich

Glad you got it sorted!

Just curious… You’re running stock (Marlin) firmware?

Yes stock ,it works for me .I ran Sonic pad and orca etc , it was just to much , I neede idiot secure stuff and I hope Ive found it now ! Do you know a way you can setup the SV06 Plus to run with Wifi ?

Octoprint will give you WiFi connectivity.

Need a dedicated PC though… I ran it as a stand alone platform on an old laptop with a busted screen. You said you had a SonicPad. It MIGHT be possible to install Octoprint on a SonicPad and use it as a “gateway” for a Marlin printer. I don’t know if it can be done.
