@sovol3d : What’s the status on the promised chamber heater? Will it ever be offered or is it now vapourware?
Hi, this is the link: Chamber Heating Module for SV08 MAX
Now it’s in stock in European.
@sovol3d Ok, so nothing yet for North American voltage? Although, oddly the pictured power cord appears to be the North American NEMA 5-15P. Are you selling N.A. heaters in Europe? Are specifications listed anywhere?
About North America Voltage, I will ask the technician and let sales add it on the list.
The ZERO Chamber Heater was EU only also for about a month before the US version was released.
Would you like me to buy it for you and send it back to you afterwards?

That’s really great, but is there a bit more information about the device? I can’t figure out where it is supposed to be attached. And a bit of tech spec (like heating, power consumption) would also be highly appreciated.
Ok, that’s a start. I gather it’s dual voltage? What is the wattage and current draw for each? How does it mount? Does it replace the input case fan or is it mounted somewhere else? Does it come with a thermistor? Does it plug into the MCU for Klipper control?
Hi
Just seen that Sovol have the chamber heater for the SV08 Max up for sale .
I have just ordered one
Thanks for being the guinea pig. I assume you bought it from the European website listed above? It doesn’t seem to be listed on the main site yet. Please post back when you receive it and answer all the questions that Sovol won’t.
It’s not that Sovol won’t, Sovol rotates staff on the forum…mostly new staff.
Usually you have to PM them…then they will ask a tech.
If you want something specific, it’s better to email them so it can get forward to a tech.
I strongly suspect Sovol’s presence on the forum is AI.
That’s your opinion, and I respect it.
FYI, some of us talk to Sovol staff regularly, and we don’t feel like we’re talking to an AI.
For anyone interested it’s available in the US warehouse now.
I see Sovol has an install video out on the website now. That does answer the questions about how and where it goes.
But @sovol3d : I’d still like to know details about the power and temperature. How many amps or watts @ 120VAC? What temperature does it bring the cabinet to? What software changes are required?
We tested at 110V power, with the temperature set to 60 degrees Celsius (the maximum setting is 60 degrees Celsius). The maximum power was 1191W. After stabilization, the power was around 870W.
You need to log in to Mainsail to modify the component files. See the image for reference.
These numbers are the printer WITH chamber heater? If the heater alone consumes 1191 it would need to be connected to a different circuit breaker than the printer.
Heater alone I believe. That question came up last August – the chamber heater has it’s own separate plug.
The printer draws about 10 amps with the bed heater at 100%. This will also draw about 10 amps initially. The maintenance draw works out to about 7-1/2 amps for the heater, the printer generally draws around 6 when printing. So yeah, two dedicated circuits or some real careful and extended warm up times.
