What can I do?

Ok so my bed thermister went caput. Challenge finding parts just so I can fix it …… And no I don’t wanna look up another Sovol printer to find parts for my printer. I should be able to go-to my printers parts and find what I need. Seems every printer but the one I decided to get has everything you need OEM or not. I can go-to any 3d printing site and find any thing for the 08,07, 06 and 06 ace…. Not only original parts but also third party parts for those printers. Not the zero you can’t, I have to get online set aside multiple hours researching the part. Then do searches until I find something I might be able to modify if I’m lucky

For the Zero bed thermistor, you need to contact info@sovol3d.com.

I’d also place an order for commonly needed spare parts.

$12 and you get other spare parts in addition to the thermistor.

I generally get a kit like this for spare parts when I buy a new printer, but for the Zero, I bought a spare tool head.

Look around on the Zero accessories page to see if there are other items you’d like to get at the same time. I have the silicone wiper brushes in my shopping cart, waiting to add them to something else I need.

No offense, I’ve seen that. That’s the thermister for the hotend. I can’t use that for the bed plate.

I should have said that. I’m just ready to chunk this thing. Been nothing but a headache. I haven’t had a single complete print. And I’ve had this thing for over a few months. In fact thats exactly what I’m going to do. I’m just done. This thing is just going into storage. I don’t want this headache. And everything I’ve asked about I either get wrong info or no one knows. Maybe after this thing grows some. I get into it. Or I want a bigger project than the 2.4 and Trident I built. Which currently I have no issues with. I didn’t want another project I have 2. I wanted a printer I just print have fun with. I guess that’s my mistake.

Maybe you missed my first line. For the bed thermistor, you need to contact Sovol at info@sovol3d.com.

I built my first two 3D printers before there were consumer 3D printers and I’ve purchased 11 more since then. I’ve never needed to replace a bed thermistor. That’s why Sovol doesn’t list it as an accessory for the Zero, but they’ll help you if you contact them.

The other links I posted were suggestions for common spare parts you might need that would avoid down time waiting for replacement parts if you purchased them in advance, on the chance you might need them. I bought an entire Zero tool head that I’ll probably never use, just in case.

I’m genuinely sorry you have had problems with your Zero. My experience has been the opposite. The printer arrived pre-assembled so I mostly plugged it in, turned it on, and printed… many different materials including ABS which can be challenging on unenclosed printers but it prints as easily as PLA on the Zero. It’s been a very reliable printer. I did rewrite the CLEAN NOZZLE macro to make the 90% first layer success 100%.

I can tell you are frustrated but if you can set aside the emotions and solve a problem or two you might be having, I think you’d be happy with the Zero once it’s working properly. It really is a solid little printer design.

I just got done contacting Sovol at info@sovol3d.com for spare silicone boots.
Got reply in a couple hours, and within 24 hours from that, I placed the order and they were shipping it to me.

So, I would definitely start there.
