Can confirm the CHT and E3D style nozzles fit with 0 issues
Been printing pretty much daily, testing flows, getting everything dialled in, 0 leaks so far, 0 issues with clogs, it’s been flawless.
Correct that the nozzle does sit a little bit higher up, due to it being shorter, but there is more than enough clearance between the shrouds and the bed.
If anyone is looking for nozzles for these; E3D fit absolutely fine.
Half a mm shorter than the nozzle from Sovol, but available in various diameters from Fysetc as a nozzle for the Creality K1. I installed a nozzle made of hardened steel with a diameter of 0.5 mm. I can’t find any problems.
Here’s the reddit post describing the attempt to use K1 nozzles on the SV08. They say it worked fine for a few hours and then you’ll have molten filament coming out of the top.
As I said, the nozzle is 0.5mm shorter than the Sovol nozzle. This makes the nozzle 2mm longer than the Volcano nozzle. I can’t rule out problems! There are also minimal differences in the nozzles depending on the manufacturer. So far I haven’t noticed any problems. But I would like the manufacturers not to “invent” their own nozzle. That is very unpleasant.
