I have 2 new Sovol SV07 plus machines and I tried installing Christian Vicks klipper additions files for both machines using Orca Slicer. I followed the instructions and YouTube videos to a T!! But as soon as I restart my machines both of them say that the machine can’t connect to Moonraker and the touch screen is basically useless. I can control the machine from the computer but not the touch screens. So this is of no good use like this.
I had to reformat both machines to factory settings then tried again but got same results.
Same issue here but if you wait for a number of seconds the screen will update to the one you have shown. Just click the retry button on the lower right corner and then the system will show as normal on the screen. Seems that using Christians additions caused klipper to boot before moonraker is ready. I find this to be a minor annoyance compared to the wealth of additions you get. Hopefully this will be dealt with in a later update of Christian’s work.
