SV06 Plus ACE Orca Slicer (Linux Mint) profil for 0,2/0,6/0,8 mm nozzle

Hello,

I’m a beginner regarding 3D Printing and the SV06 Plus ACE is my first printer. Good Printer. Print already PETG and TPU.

Yesterday ordered additional nozzle (0,2/0,6/0,8). Unfortunately the Orca slicer 2.3.1 and Linux Mint seems to be weird. I can’t import any profil from Github. Link from Sovol.

Error Message

Then I try to create a new Profil. Also doesn’t work.

Does anyone already had this issue in the past?

Thanks in advance

Thahuy

I had the same issue when importing from a Windows computer to a Mint laptop.
I think maybe @Oliver got it to work..??

I’m sorry. I use Windows. Linux only runs on the Raspberry Pi here. I can’t help with that, unfortunately.

Does it mean, if I take a windows pc i will not have this issue?

Instead of trying to import a profile, you can always just create your own.

The printer was not included in older versions. Importing it should not be necessary in version 2.3.1, as the printer is already included in Orca.

Like you see in the right picture, creationalso doesn‘t work.

As I said, it’s for Windows and German. The package needs to be extracted here, and some files will be overwritten in the process. Then the printer should appear in the selection.

however, I created the profile for the nozzle myself. I don’t want to go back to windows. It took a little bit time.
