Hi, I’ve been wondering how to make my sv06 ace more silent, previously I had a ender 3 pro and with the quiet step motors it was very quiet, but with SV06 ACE I can’t even leave the print in the other room over night because it’s too loud to sleep, the main issue is the print fan, has anyone seen a…

Is the fan whining or just loud..??

I would say just loud, doesn’t sound like there’s anything wrong with it, I also mostly print PLA so the fan runs 100% all the time.

The ACE is loud, it’s the loudest printer I own. There are a few posts here about it, but I don’t remember anyone doing anything to change it.

This is all I could could find, but it’s for the mainboard. [image] SV06 Plus Ace PSU Fan Upgrade? Sovol SV06 Plus ACE Hi all, The fan on the Plus Ace is too loud to have in my living space while I am working and I would like to swap it for a Noctua. I found several mods…

I designed a dual 50x15 fan setup for another forum user that vanished before I got it done. In your case set max_power at .4 or so in printer.cfg. 3x the fans running at 40% should move enough air and be quieter. [image] Dual part fans for the Sovol Ace twins (SV06 Ace and SV06 Plus Ace…

The fan isn’t comparable to other component fans. It spins significantly faster than usual. Even with PLA, it only spins at 70-80% with the Orca settings. The nozzle might help a bit, but I don’t hear anything from the power supply fan or electronics fan during printing.

This is what I was hoping to find, thank you so much to you and everyone else that has contributed, I will let you know how it works after I get to it, lets hope my wife won’t complain about the printer in the living room anymore

Hi, I have a sv06 ACE and it was incredibly loud! I have replaced the mainboard fan and case, door side only with a high flow option. I have retained the size of the original fan by using an ANVISION DC 24V 40mm Dual Ball Bearing Brushless Cooling Fan, YDM4010B24. I sourced it from amazon. It is a …

I’ve been dealing with this too. It’s quite loud and I am certain it is the part cooling fan. Unfortunately, the biggest challenge has been finding a 4-pin PWM solution that is compatible. There are just very very few 4-Pin blowers out there, 12V, 24V, or otherwise. The ones I have found are huge, li…

Hi, in terms of replacement I used the model provided by cardoc and used 2 5015 sunon maglev fans from aliexpress for about 10$ total, I ran them 100% and they’re pretty quiet, I’m still waiting for a 4pin cable I ordered to connect them properly but it looks promising. <a href="https://pl.aliexpress.com/item/1005006386709422.html?spm=a2g0o.productlist.main.1.684133a3iN2HaI&algo_pvid=e5b4a3e4-d2a7-4c30-afcc-5eb5d2914e67&algo_exp_id=e5b4a3e4-d2a7-4c30-afcc-5eb5d2914e67-0&pdp_ext_f=%7B%22order%22%3A%22410%22%2C%22eval%22%3A%221%22%7D&pdp_npi=4%40dis%21PLN%2120.67%2118.09%21%21%215.40%214.73%21%40211b61bb17503575641078610e9c52%2112000036983700231%21sea%21PL%213995706379%21X&curPageLogUid=OHKSV2tmbjty&utparam-url=scene%3Asearch%7Cquery_from%3A&gatewayAdapt=glo2pol" rel="noopener nofollow ugc">https://pl.aliexpress.com/ite…
