SV06 Ace Extruder Heater Issues

Just purchased an SV06 and asembled everything perfectly fine. I compleated the PID tuning and bed leveling no problem, and loaded the included PLA filiment to print a benchy to test everything. I then got the “heater extruder not heating at expected rate” error and the print stopped. I tried a few more times and noticed that everything would get up to temp and start printing the first layer but at some point the tempature would drop from 220c to 170c in an instant. I opened up both the driver board and the PCB on the extruder and all cables seem plugged in properly. A few more tries after that and I am getting a heat reading of -55c on the extruder. I assume that something is wrong in the hardware but I frankly do not even know where to start. What should I do to figure out what is wrong?

Here is the image of the extruder PCB.

Might be worth the time and effort to follow the cables from the hotend area, back to the motherboard, and see if everything is plugged in securely. Had a a half-unplugged cable on a recently shipped SV04, that caused all kinds of issues. Also doesn’t hurt to unplug, and replug them too.

The Ace toolhead has it’s own control board. Thermistor (green) and heater (red) connect directly to that board.
