I am having a major issue were neither fan turns on on extruder 1. I see nothing unplugged, no wired damage and I have tried flashing the firmware but no luck. The fans on extruder 2 turn on just fine. What can I do?

in general, the etruder fans should run at 100% speed when preocessing gcodeM107 P0 S255 for left fan and M107 P1 S255 for the right fan. In case one fan is not working checking voltage using a multimeter could help to locate the problem: If the same voltage is present at both fan connectors you’ll need a replacement fan. In case of missing voltage you’ll need to check cables. Here you’ll find a documentation of all SV04 pins & connections on the motherboard & gantry breakout boards which should help to find the complete electrical connection down to the motherboard.

Typically, you should have a few fans as backups. Amazon usually sells them in 2, 4, 8 packs depending on the fan…JMO
