I see that Sovol is now selling a 32GB EMMC. I can’t find any information on it. I wanted to see if it was easier to buy that versus buying a generic one with a USB adapter and flashing it with the Sovol image. But if i need to do the same thing with the one from Sovol there is no point of paying the premium for that one.

I have contacted Sovol and asked if it will be preflashed for the SV08 MAX and they have said yes so I am going to order one

I was hoping they would have replied to my post with that information. But instead they only replied with a vague message saying it works with the SV08 series. Which makes it more confusing. Since I assume the SV08 and SV08 Max have different firmware. So how can it support both without you needing to copy the appropriate files yourself. @sovol3d can you please answer my question. Does it come pre-flashed with the latest SV07 Max firmware or do we need to copy the files ourselves. If I need to copy the files myself I will order from ali or Amazon and pay half the price.

They updated the website to now inform us that it does come pre-flashed with the SV08 Max firmware.

I have 4 or 5 eMMCs in stock. The SV08Max is perfect for testing them. If something doesn’t work as expected, simply reinstall the original eMMC and the SV08Max will return to its factory settings (unless you’ve already modified it).
