Hi, I tried to print with my brand new Sovol SV06+ today and am a total beginner.
I wanted to print the preinstalled Benchy but it didn’t work. It said to press the button to continue after having heated the nozzle and printing plate but pressing it did nothing. I really don’t know anything about using a 3D printer so I don’t know what the fix is, although I’m sure it’s an easy one.
Thanks for helping
After you’ve done all the leveling…
Click the little + Icon to select a file to print.
Walk through.
I did select Benchy and pressed print. Then it preheated both the nozzle and the printing plate. It after heating, then said to “insert the filament and press the button to continue”. I inserted the filament and pressed continue but it did nothing except a beep sound for having pressed a button.
If you want to, I can record a video so you better understand what I mean if that helps…?
This video is for the SV06 (different screen), but the process is the same.
It’s easier to see it then explain it.
Put the filament through the filament sensor first (SV06 didn’t come with one)
Then preheat, then turn the knob.
Sure, everything helps.
As @Lion says, you first have to level your printer bed and then insert the filament into the runout sensor before print, otherwise it won’t work.
yeah, I’m just stupid…
I didn’t first load the sensor…
Thanks for helping though
