My 3D touch sensor broke and is waiting for replacement part. I need to print part urgent. Is it possible to print without the touch sensor?
This won’t work without changing hardware & firmware:
Marlin firmware needs to run a homing procedure after power-on in order to get the correct printhead position. Without touch sensor it would need at least a Z-endstop switch connected to the motherboard. Additionally, the Marlin firmware would need an update in order to interface the new Z-endstop correctly.
