My brand new printer crashes in to itself in the begginning of a print and never starts printing

i bought a brand new SV06 ace and when i try to print something it moves the bed forward and pushes it in to the frame for half a seckond cousing the stepper mottor to skip, and than comes down the Z axis pushing the head in to the bed indefinitly again, making the setepper skip steps.

i tried to redo the calibration but it didn’t help.
i resliced the model in orca slicer on the sv06 ace preset and no help.

i have assembled the printer myself, is it possible it’s a hardware problem?

Hello,
You probably forgot a block of foam under the bed.
Everyone forgets it.
First of all, you have to flip the printer.
You can’t see this block, it’s between the bed and the rail.

oh you’re right, i took out the front one and didn’t check for another one

that was it, it’s flawless now, thanku

Given the frequency of this error, Sovol should probably intervene and provide a clear indication of the part under the print bed.

That’s what I’ve already asked for.

I have feedback on it. The R&D department said it would make improvements
