First layer problem

Hello,

I have a problem with uneven first layer, on the first picture is when there are no wrinkles yet, and the second is after -0.01. Cant find what could be the problem. I have it before working just fine (nice even first layer) but than I had to disasemblw it and clean it thoroughly because it got heavy dusted

Hi,

After your cleaning, did you recalibrate?

Ho,

Yes, cleanit try to recalibrate, check screws (there were lose screws at the worm rods at the springs, where its connected to the x rod) nothing helps

The photos of the sheets show some fairly localized high spots on your build surface. The mesh correction can’t really follow defects of this type unless you add MANY more points to the mesh.

First make sure the top of the magnet sheet is absolutely clean.
Then make sure that BOTH SIDES of the removable plate are absolutely clean. Verify the plate has no dents or bends.

If your problem persists you can either:
Edit your printer.cfg to increase the number of probe points in the mesh.
OR
Get a rigid FLAT sanding block and sand down the high spots on the top of your magnet sheet.

Last printing now (after cleaning calibration like probe ztilt bed level )

These high spots

are too small for your mesh to “see” with the current spacing of probe points.

Magmetic sheet looks ok, no dmg and it looks flat af i can see and feel, and I dont know how many times I had already clean it  so should I incerase probe points? Thanks

From what I can see, your first layer isn’t too bad.

Have you tried a full print to see the result?

What does the other side look like…the printbed side..??

After i raise The probe points to 9.9

What is your layer thickness?

It does look like your nozzle is actually touching in some areas. I’d sand the magnet to fix the high spots.

Alternate is to put a layer of tape (clear packing < 70 °C/Kapton above that) to raise everywhere that’s not high.

You can go crazy and do a 15x15 mesh but it’s slow.

Good point…

If you haven’t already..change this setting & try again.
