I would like to convert my Z1 to a pen plotter, would this be possible with the current mainboard? I think it would be possible by replacing the board with an Arduino, but preferrably I’d like to keep the original board so I can switch back to the laser if needed.
Any help/advice is greatly appreciated!
@sovol3d The mainboard of the Z1 and the SO-2 look very similar, except that the SO-2 has connections for the stepper motor that lifts the pen up/down, which is exactly what I need 
. Where can I find such a mainboard?
