Has anybody come up with a sensible way to hold the bed material(glass or pei) on the heated bed?
I’ve been chasing my tail for over a week trying to get adhesion and a decent first layer, went and bought a PEI sheet and got it fitted and leveled to help with this and while leveling I noticed that the glass is sitting away up 2mm on one corner if the clip is moved, when the clip is on its either hitting of the uprights or the display or the hot end is hitting it when trying to level the bed with the 9 point leveling.
Also the PEI sheet seems to bow up in the middle when it’s on so I’m having to increase the distance on the mesh leveling!
This is such a crap set up that I can’t believe Sovol would send printers out of the factory with these crappy clips as the method for holding things together!
Is there any solutions to this issue or what does everyone else use?
I’ve thought about trying to tape it on but with the heat would it stay? And if it does there’ll be a mess of adhesive building up under the bed in no time. If I printed small holders would they hold up with the heat of the bed?
Is there a magnetic heated bed available anywhere that is the same size as the SV01 bed to just swap it out and fix it once and for all?
