Project Name: Sv06 filament loading and outage detector

What did you build or modify?
Created a low profile Filament sensor because it did not have one , Put a lot of thought into the design for it to be compatible with the default marlin and Klipper , with dual ball bearings for reduced filament friction and optical trigger system for detection of filament , to enable automatic loading and runout sensing. -

I am also quite proud of my modified filament spool rewinder that i specifically modified for the SV06 and SV06 Plus , I have also created many other mods some yet to be published for mounting Klipper screens such as the Bigtreetech pad 7 and modified parts for improving the rigidity of the sv06 and svo6 plus frames, as well as power supply modifications for quieter fans , Additional Fet boards for controlling fans that previously had no control etc.

Tell us briefly about your 3D printing journey. What does open-source and community co-creation mean to you?
I am a 56yo Electronics Engineer from Melbourne Australia ,I started my working life in business equipment repairs where a lot of mechanical work was required, worked in telecommunications for some years and then went on to build my own electronics repair business as well as owned and operated ISP’s and built Linux clusters for universities, built and serviced computer networks and infrastructure from the early 90’s onwards , I semi retired due to health issues about 3 years ago and now spend most of my time tinkering with electronics , boats, 3D printers and printer mods.I feel the open source community is about sharing resources and helping each other with our different skill sets, I really enjoy being a part of it and contributing my 3D designs to help others and offering assistance where i can to those who need it, I spend quite a lot of time 3D designing parts and creating 3D models for my projects and on occasions i find something that i can improve on the printer for better quality printing I make my models available via the Printables community to help other users .
