Just a teaser, as the designs are nearing completion as are the test measurement prints and I’ll be releasing this on Printables soon. It’s a printable riser for the SV08 Max, with multiple options:
Windowed front panel to match the stock enclosure (tinted acrylic or glass)
Solid front panel option
3MF setup for Polymaker Dark Gray for printing all parts on the SV08 Max
3MF setup for Polymaker Dark Gray for printing corners on a Voron V0.2 if desired to speed things up
3MF setup for test pieces to confirm measurement and expansion/contraction of your particular model (nobody likes wasting filament on giant prints)
Step files for all parts
Full BOM and locations to buy hardware (nuts/screws/heat inserts)
This looks good, what hight is it. I have a BTT HDMI 7IN SCREEN and I would like to fit it on the right hand front side. Anything smaller would look crapI think.
You will need 1-2 spools of ABS, and for the window versions the tinted acrylic windows will be about $15 ($30 shipped in the US) (not from me, but from a supplier I will put in the BOM)
Doing expansion testing now on the long parts, and since I will be out of the country for a bit there will be a delay on test fitting the acrylic.
100mm, which should allow me to build in a back-right mounted Nevermore filter option. I may also release a 150mm version for those that want a heater. Only rule is keeping it under counter height for those that want it under a workbench.
How tall is the screen casing, and do you have a model of it?
It’s complete, looks near-factory IMO. The plexi is a perfect match for the glass. Only thing left is to design a TPU plug for the hole in the top where the filament used to come through. The Nevermore filter mounts nicely in the back corner, too. I’ll have pictures of all of that in the build-log once I post it and the STEP/3MF files.
What is 100 mm? the total height of the riser? Why 150 mm for the heater? (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WvtPUMAyTUU)
Because of hot air circulation? Is there any CFD simulation of SV08 max with heater?
