What's wrong here

Hello all,

After months of fighting my svo6 Plus issues, I am in relatively good shape as I previously explained.

Now a question. I am attempting to print collegiate drink coasters for holiday gift giving. Everything looks good with the exception of the surface near the wolf’s head that is depicted. The stl source photo shows a uniform, smooth surface inside the coaster but as you’ll see in my photo I am not getting that. It’s more of a scalloped edge leading to the depiction of the wolf’s head.

Are there any ideas on possible slicer settings to correct that and give the smooth, uniform surface? It’s Cura 5.8.1

Thanks, Diego

Usually this is an bridging/infill problem. Depending on the infill pattern, if the infill is too low…say 5%…the filament will melt in between pattern…causing scallops.
So increasing the infill or changing the pattern should fix this issue.

This is just a guess, I had it happen to me once in the past.

Thanks Lion,

I have infill at 10%, but if this persists will increase to 15 or 20%.
