Hi can anyone tell me what the difference is on the supplied 4.3" screen for the SVO8 max
Compared the the the 5" offered as an extra
is it just the size.

I don’t see much documentation on the kickstarter page but I bet it is the same as
If that is the case the difference is that the 3.5" is “attached” to the MCU half of the mainboard and runs a proprietary interface created by Sovol (or under contract by MKS). The 5" attaches directly to the Linux half of the board as a monitor and pointing device and runs Klipper Screen.
If you have a PC close by where your printer is going to operate then there is no real advantage to the 5" as you can get to all of Klippers functions VIA Mainsail or Fluidd. If there is not a PC close by Klipper Screen has many functions omitted from the 4.3" interface.
Personally if I wanted Klipper Screen I’d bypass Sovol’s 5" and find a 3rd party 7 or 10" touchscreen and print my own enclosure.
As of yet…Sovol has never put an accessory screen they sell on a printer.
