SV08/Zero HDMI Capacitive Klipper Screen is now on my Zero

First let me say that I use my Zero with an Ethernet cable & the display still works.

Here is a link to the screen:

Here are some pics of it installed.

Right now the old display plugs are just lying underneath the new display.
Over the weekend I will remove the bottom & find a place to attach them out of the way of the belts.

*** You have to change the Font from Medium (Standard) to Small or you will loose the bottom row in some settings & also you won’t be able to type in the console. ***

So far I like it, but I didn’t really know what to expect as their is not a lot of info online about this display.

One not so bad thing was the the kickstand was broken, but I mounted it so it really doesn’t matter.

I plan on printing a new case, I just haven’t decided on a color yet…I am leaning toward Fire Engine Red.

Attach a USB keyboard if you want to type in the console. [alt]+t will open the Linux terminal and eliminate the need to use SSH to access the OS.

Add a USB hub if you don’t want to use up all the mainboard connections. You can add a mouse too if you turn on the mouse pointer in the KlipperScreen settings.

I used an old android phone and run XServer XSDL. Just plug in a USB Cable and it connects to KlipperScreen.

Say Hi to Bumblebee

Sovol gave me permission to upload them to Printables.

Thank you, as it happens I didn’t need it!
I bought a btt HDMI5 v1.2 (where cables exit at rear for cleaner look), and found a cover on Printables. Then I combined it with the sovol adapter bracket (also from Printables).
Altogether about US$34.

Do you have a link to the prints?

how did you wire the cables to the screen?

I’ve got the same display and currently the wires aren’t very neat
