I am running Sovol Eddy and here are my eddy settings, not very different from yours: [probe_eddy_current eddy] sensor_type: ldc1612 z_offset: 4.0 i2c_mcu: extra_mcu i2c_bus: i2c1 x_offset: -16.43 y_offset: 10.22 vir_contact_speed: 3.0 PS My system is running just fine.

The difference is that you z_offset: 4.0 is not commented out, where mine is. Im going to have to try removing the uncomment and see if it makes a difference.

That seems like a good idea, but try starting at 4.0. I think this should raise it higher from the bed. I don’t fully understand where the z offset get’s set from eddy, but my settings work without problem.

I don’t have the configuration files for an SV08E but both the Zero and the Max have offsets hard coded in the Z_offset macro. It overwrites any offset you’ve set. See:
