Just wanted to leave instructions here for the community, since it took me a while to figure this out myself.
Initially Ultimaker would not recognize my SV06 connected via USB on Ubuntu 22.04 linux. I had to build and install drivers for the CH340 serial converter for it to work. The driver and instructions are available on GitHub: GitHub - juliagoda/CH341SER: CH341SER driver with fixed bug
I found this via SparkFun’s website: How to Install CH340 Drivers - SparkFun Learn
As the GitHub instructions say, I also had to uninstall brltty with sudo apt remove brltty
Once this was done, Ultimaker recognized the SV06 and I could print via USB without issues.
