Looks way more tidy than my setup. How does it work?

Something went terribly wrong, it caused all my prints to fail. They would print a few layers then stop. Clearly the way I have it set up is wrong, I’ll have another think how I can get this set up properly.

Saw this interesting video regarding pulling from a dryer, and the angles of the filament causing high friction and failed prints. There is a 3d printed solution included.
