Mainlined, Zero toolhead, now eddy-ng?

I mainlined klipper on my SV08, then converted to CAN and swapped in a Zero toolhead. This is working quite well, and so far, I’m happy with it. But I’d like to get tap-Z axis working like the Zero.

Long-term, the best way would seem to be installing eddy-ng, but I’m not sure of the specs/configs needed for it. Anyone know of a how-to out there for eddy-ng with the Zero toolhead?

Mainline Klipper has the eddy tap function included in the latest update.

The simplest route may be to install the SV08 Max bits and pieces. Uses the same tap method as the Zero but has Quad Gantry support built in.

Download the Max Restore file. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1A7mfdH0gTU4VS60ker5Rnl1muqiNfMMP/view?usp=sharing

Extract the ~/sovol folder (7 zip) and use WinSCP to move it into your printer.
Edit the .cfg files for the smaller print volume, cleaning brush location, and eliminate the buffer.

May have to tweak the CAN settings. You didn’t give any details on

I assume you added a USB <> CAN converter of some type.
