I am updating the electronics on my SV08 and having a heck of a time figuring out the wiring. Complete beginner at this. I have the following:
Anyone have a diagram or two to share? I have been getting advice on “connect this to DC side of SSR and this other thing to the AC side of SSR” and there are no labels on it to help me out.
The only wires that move on the heater control module are the 2 that go to the mainboard. They go to the screw terminals near the Knob screen connectors. Note the colors vs + and - before you unscrew them.
The meanwell should be pin (screw terminal) to pin labeled like the stock P/S.
Do you plan on retaining the knob screen?
Are you retaining the Sovol toolhead board? Upgrading to a BTT CAN toolhead boad?
Did you purchase the appropriate plug in drivers? The octopus board ships with empty sockets.
The SV08 is essentially a Voron 2.4. Use their guide for wiring.
