Hello, I have printed a few thing with my sv08max. After a few prints I got an bus error. Turns out a loose eddy current cable, I put it back in and worked again. Is it designed to be just a loose cable in a fitting, there is not a connector of some type to fasten the cable in and prevent it to go out while printing and stopping/ruining the print. Now I was printing something which went ok, then I leave and come back to find the next print was not leveling right and up in inspection I saw the probe was broken.as well as the probe cable damaged. Now what can I do? I could not find a probe replacement online. I have urgent print jobs. I need to print things urgently.. so I saw a (out of stock everywhere) sv08max print head replacement Which costs ~130, no probe on the website.. I ordered new sv08max weeks ago And still not even send my way..
@sovol3d please send me a replacement SV08MAX print head asap for warranty (or probe with cable) so I can use the printer for the job I bought it for. Also please update the design so no cable can get loose while printing wasting many kilos of material.
Also why does it need the probe for printing? Other printers have a nozzle that zero’s out the printer before printing.
Hi @Printer
Not 100% sure its the same, but worth a look. The connection where the cable fits in has a grey clip that flips up and the cable is slid in and then the clip flips down to secure the cable. Looks like yours has some glue.
This is from my Sovol Zero, I had a similar issue.
Damn, there is also nothing online.. I opens it, now the the housing as almost completely broken anyway.. I don’t know what to do now. I needed to print urgent things, @sovol3d please send me what I need to get printing again. The sensor housing and the sensor board are toast.. the cable also shown some wear on the conducting area.. please contact me asap I send also urgent email already
Where is that shipping to? I was under the impression that China to US was NOT available for the toolheads? I also ordered one through Amazon but not sure when will arrive if ever.
Any idea why they are so constrained? Hopefully replacing with INDX tool head (please please).
