Disable to Loud enclosure fan Sovol Zero

How can I disable or control the enclosure fan?..can it be done thru Klipper/Fluidd?

I do not it to run…it is very loud.

Thanks in advance for comment/reply

That’s the “[temperature_fan exhaust_fan]” which is configured to reach a target temperature. You can set this directly on the display, in Klipper or change printer.cfg:

[temperature_fan exhaust_fan]

target_temp: 40

You could also reduce the maximum fan speed (all the way to 0 of you want) by editing your printer.cfg file.

Open it in Fluidd and scroll down until you find this section:

[temperature_fan exhaust_fan]
pin: PB0
sensor_type: EPCOS 100K B57560G104F
sensor_pin: PC4
max_power: 0.8
shutdown_speed: 0
kick_start_time: 0.5
cycle_time: 0.01
off_below: 0.1
min_temp: 0
max_temp: 70
target_temp: 30
max_delta: 1.0
control: watermark
gcode_id: D
tachometer_pin: PB1
tachometer_ppr: 1
tachometer_poll_interval: 0.0046

Edit max_power as you please.

Note: you are setting a PWM constraint. 0.2 = 20% and is typically about the point where most fans fail to start turning. Setting a low, non zero, value that won’t start the fan spinning will eventually ruin the fan

Since this is the part cooling fan, you might not want to disable it…JMO

As mentioned, this is for enclosure, not part cooling.

Anyway managed to increase the activation temp to 90C ..fan doesn’t dun till enclosure temp is above 90C

90°C is quite hot for a chamber temp, and beyond the 80°C max specified in the stock configuration.

I can understand “just setting the chamber so hot the fan its effectively disabled”, because the exhaust_fan is so loud But is 90°C really what your filament material wants? I admit my experience with high temp filaments is limited.
