Does anyone have an ASA Orcaslicer profile that works perfectly for the SV06 ACE?
Mine isn’t very stable; sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t. Even the standard profile that comes with the slicer isn’t good. The printing is much too fast.
I only have the Sovol profile for the Orca slicer. I print ASA on enclosed printers, not on the SV06 ACE. Therefore, I can’t comment on that. If it’s printing too fast, I would try reducing the volumetric speed in the material settings. 12 should be a good value.
Have you constricted any sort of temporary enclosure?
Last year I ran several spools of GF-ASA through my SV07. I built an enclosure from foam core poster board (dollar tree), hot glue and duct tape. A 10 minute presoak with bed at 100 ° got me around 62 °C chamber temp. Start print without opening worked well once I got enough light onside to see enough on the webcam to trust it.
I never could get a really good surface finish. I blamed it on the glass fiber. I’ve never printed plain ASA.
