thanks for letting me know - the wiki pages should be working again.
GitHub changes the wiki page address once you change the page name. However, each link on the home page needs to be adjusted manually…
To answer your questions: M1900 and M1901 are intended to support print hosts like Octoprint by adding functions to reset display variables & switch display screens directly. I received feed-back about display screen dead-locks from print host users. I don’t use any print host, so I added M1900 & M1901 in order to allow any kind of workaround in print host scripts.
