I managed to get mainline Klipper on my Ace and wrote a short guide on how to do so.
Note that as of now, the instructions are still a work in progress but I’m working to improve them as much as possible.
Thank you so much for this and for sharing your work! I can’t wait to get mainline klipper running on my machine and I plan to try this soon as I have the time. I was planning on looking into a main board swap to make it easier but this looks doable, although more of an undertaking than I’ve done before. The top reason I bought this printer was because it was listed as open source and I wrongly assumed it would be easy to set up mainline klipper
Thanks for sharing, but I’m waiting for someone to perform test to show whether such upgrade is even needed, if printer starts to print faster/better quality then I would consider upgrading. Otherwise, why fixing what is not broken ?
