My SV08 Max layer shifts x and y about 1/3 of the way up on the included test benchy every time. What is the problem here? Belt tension? what is the proper frequency to tension the belts to on the MAX?
Also, the wifi wont connect at all, to my 2.4ghz only ssid, when the router is 15 feet away and every other device gets full strength signal…
OK thanks I have set the belts to 110hz and it seems to have fixed the layer shift.
My wifi doesnt seem to work tho, I even tried installing an wired external antenna and moving the antenna right next to the wifi router and it doesnt detect it. I have checked the antenna connection on the main board under the machine and reseated it, but It didnt help. Is my main board defective? Very strange.
Hi. You can refer to the Sv08 procedure. The only difference is the gantry calibration method. The SV08 verifies that there are no gaps between the frames at the rear, while the SV08 Max verifies from the front. A video tutorial on belt adjustment for the SV08 Max is currently in development and will be updated soon. It is recommended that the A and B axis belt tension be calibrated at a target of 140Hz. Measure 150mm at each of the front and rear positions for calibration, repeating 2-3 times.
Please check the security type of the router. It can only be WPA2 and is not compatible with WPA3.
Thanks, My router is set to WPA2, its set to 20mhz, 2.4ghz only, channel 6. tried two different routers only 10 feet away with no signal. It only gets a signal when router is placed 2 feet away, There is something wrong with the wifi antenna circuit on my main board I think…..
Does your SSID have special characters? Some devices will not connect it your SSID has them. I even had a Schlage lock that wouldn’t connect to any WiFi it there was any SSID broadcasting nearby with a special characters I had to pair it in my closet. I was able to show them that info and they fixed it eventually.
