I always had that in the back of my mind, but never bought them until I got my 6th printer ![]()
This seems to have come to a halt so thanks for the input. I hope this might be useful to others.
Don’t forget one thing: try playing around with your printer.
After a few failures, you’ll learn more and more. Other tips may be necessary at this stage, but the main thing is to have fun.
Enjoy
Coming back to the fire stuff…this is what I bought.
2 blankets & 3 extinguishers (which they don’t sell anymore)
Save your money and buy something better. Nothing but problem after problem with these cheep Chinese printers. I have had the sv06 ace for about 6 months and have tossed more filament from failed prints and have had so many things break or have manufacture defect that Im about to just toss mine in the trash. Dont be like me and waste so much money on this garbage with nothing but a hand full of prints from around 10kg of filament. Not worth it. Get something better and more reliable. This community is great if you do get it. You will be here all the time asking questions about this garbage.
I have to agree. Sadly I didn’t realize how poorly designed these printers were. My hot end cracked after a couple of weeks. A new hot end worked for about 2 more weeks then the entire printer started flaking out. I’m sure I could spend hours tracking down the defects, but why should I when the entire machine is 6 weeks old?
