I need someone to probe continuity on their zero toolhead mcu between the thermistor connector/solder pad labeled “TH” and the toolheads MCU small SMD resistor on the back side of the toolheads MCU labeled “R26” and tell me if one side of the R26 resistor does in fact read continuity. This is so I can fix a broken trace/lifted solder pad. It got torn up so bad I can’t confirm continuity using the trace anymore (it’s not reachable). Trying to fix my thermistor connector on the mcu.
PLEASE NOTE: If you do help me. MAKE SURE THE TOOLHEAD MCU IS NOT POWERED BY ANYTHING WHEN PROBING CONTINUITY AS IT COULD POTENTIALLY SHORT YOUR MCU OUT
Hey man, thanks a lot. So I can’t measure the resistance confidently because the trace is ripped out but I did manage to get a reading using some very thin needle like probes to find R26. The value was 11.5k resistance on the opposite solder pad from the pad and trace that goes back to the STM32. I managed to solder a jumper and actually got it back up and working. Basically swapped my sv08 toolhead for a zero toolhead but my zero thermistor broke so I modified it some more and successfully have an sv08 flowtech hot end running on the zero toolhead with repaired TH trace on my sv08
