:hammer_and_wrench: 1. About You

:printer: 2. Your Sovol Machine(s)

  • Which Sovol model(s) do you own? - moded and “voronised” sv08
  • How long have you been printing with it? 2 and half a year

:rocket: 3. Your Featured Mod / Project

  • Project Name: I have made a lot of stuff for Nadir’s sv08 mods, few remixes and upgrades

  • What did you build or modify? I have completely rebuild my sv08 from ground up. For example triple top hat, mod for usage with original glass top, printed gantry mod, yokai toolhead with CPAP cooling and if I needed to customise something, I have uploaded to my printables profile too(there is a lot for sv08)

  • Photos & Videos: (Upload or link your build photos, timelapses, or short clips here!)

:light_bulb: 4. Your Maker Story & Open-Source Spirit

  • Tell us briefly about your 3D printing journey. What does open-source and community co-creation mean to you?
  • I have started printing 5 years ago. I repaired my friends printer, try it and I was just amazed. Bought Neptune 4 pro just to try it for myself and when it became too small, I have bought sv08. I really loved that it has voron background so it’s upgradable. Since that I have tested all Nadir’s toolheads and mods, gave him feedback and did some changes myself like pogo pin front face for xenomorph. I m active in many Facebook printing groups where I try to help others getting into 3D printing.

Add to open source ideology: open source is IMHO everything, locking something behind patents isn’t pushing the limits. It’s just crazy how many great minds are hidden behind keyboards somewhere in the world than can improve your idea or build on it. Sharing is just carrying.
