# SV04 Main fan noise

Hello, I just started with my new SV04 and i discovered that the motherboard fan operate all the time and is so noisy. Does somebody has the same issue ?

Hi @CHRISBOU

I am sure my SV04’s main fan runs all the time. I have yet to know the fan off while powered up, but the printer is in a room, here, with other fans, so it’s not much of a difference.

Hi, thank you for the feed back. The only problem with the fan is the noise. I have also another 3D printer (old one) which is more silencious.
