i bought my sv08 about month ago, first everything went like a movie,quality great everything goes fine, about 40-50h printing and everything start to crumble to hands
first fault came error 7 and i think “i hope this is fluke because i didnt even take shroud off printer,so everything was factory settings and i straight to forum “what is error 7” so its mcu and i think.what a wierd error only 30h of printing,i thought that just a fluke,don’t worry and 10min after recovery error 14,wondering WTF,same error start came like every 5min,stop printing,check heater and thermistor wires ,looks ok,not for no apparent reason.. start new print and it goes like 2hours ok and then i heard crash abd heard like something crash my print,npt bad,i resart print and about an hour,i lookeded model and it has 30mm layer shift in Z? i was lije what a fck,stop print,check everythin did quad gantry 4-5 times and z-offset has done calibrating marks in my bed,i was in kitchen and didn first hear but when i heard, sound was like impact drill in my bed, so great. I tear extruder opdn and start finding fault, i took extruder pieces to check wires and usual suspectsfirst connectors crumbled in the hand from extruder board,lii.a, which should be soft, i.e. rock-hard pieces with which the female connectors,wires other end was ok,but pcb not so i write Sovol customer service what happend and it gives ne “chines newyear..plapla sorry etc, next day came answer,and they want know deeds where i buy and ok i send them,i waited from 22.feb and today they give me answer.. U wont belive,first came prices of pcb,bed and etc, then they give me advices first “Reporting a ‘Move queue overflow’ error usually means that the Klipper control computer’s processing speed of instructions cannot keep up with the MCU’s execution speed” so he told me what error 3 tells,witch i havent issue..ok this didnt go well..and you are saying printer cant and I have to demand less from the printer? fun,next came “. Adjust slice settings:Avoid using settings that generate a large number of small line segments, such as “Fuzzy Skin” and “Concentric Circle” top fill patterns.Wtf sovol, you are telling me now “dont make any complicated models or fuzzy skin and concentric circle” now he say i have to stop making compicated models because printer is so inefficient that it can’t do it”inefficient that it can’t do it, and i have to slow down acceleration 4000-5000 to 2000 or 3000” WTF, sovol market this printer fast,big and powerful and now sovol says “its not work with default speeds and i have to slow down because its under powered,i think sovol have to maje this printer as fast and great what they marketed sv08, and pay it.. This is competely insane thinking that lets people think they got great printer and tell them after they have paid then tell them its actualy ender 3 with cool frame…F*ck. next they say,dont print nothing over 150mm.. I loved that printer,i want still behave this like voron 2.4 Soron 2.4..i have T300 too,and its broken because sovol wont give thermistors and heaters other companys lists and want only sell Sovol website and those are always sold out,same sv08,and sovol lie to me when i asked kan i use sv08 hot side with T300 “ no you must buy seperate,when Jake3D sell those as same product cause they are almost identical only missing scrub screw in hotend..do any one ha e this kind of service,im so ready to ship both sovols back and never ever touch sovols,i wait say 3 Fun fixing suggestions from Sovol customer Care and glue those e-mails 10 copys so they dont lost them, ha e anyone fun and whimsical suggeations??
and yes that “answer” came info@sovol..i have been Contact with them since 22.feb, and On good terms, service guys just change every other time,because they have little under staff.. That advice to not make so complex models or dont use fuzzy skin was furst for me,and been many manufacturers and I never heard anything like this,when I have bought a printer just because of these features,I understand if you print something completely outside the laws of physics,but I was advised to lower the acceleration from 4000 to 2000-3000,not 40 000 what printer is capable of.. I don’t ask impossibilities,and don’t use fuzzy skin i think im entitled to rectify the matter,i have company to run,and every hour without big printer cost me Fng 70€/Hour.. i have other business to take on,and tell Sovol they cant just steamroll customer because similar There have been cases where a customer just take hit and goes after the next disappointment..Sorry,this had been Horrible week,and second Sovol product is offline..
