# Sovol 08

Good morning!  
Do you know why the new Sovol 08 update came with the front print-cooling fan disabled?

[fan\_generic fan1]  
pin: extra\_mcu:PB1 # front model cooling fan

To make it work, it needs to be:

[fan\_generic fan1]  
pin: extra\_mcu:PB0 # front model cooling fan

Could making this change affect the print head’s operation?

We haven’t disabled the front print fan; the fact that PB1 isn’t working suggests the fan is connected to the wrong port. Please revert your configuration file to its original state, then refer to the image below and connect the fan to the port marked with the red arrow.
