I have a Sovol 07+ that has been going great after I discovered glue sticks, but suddenly nothing sticks. I’m planning to try a G10 plate. The PEI plate is needed to stop the Z down before crashing into the the plate. If I add the G10 1.5 mm how can I prevent the head crashing into the G10? Thanks. I’ve been levelling before every attempt. Next day - I see that using a G10 will not work. I’ve levelled the bed with a spirit level. Did the corner levelling which put the bed way out of whack. What hell is going on here? ---

Update Restored factory settings Manually levelled bed with spirit level. Z tilt Z calibrate Bed level using screws adjust only Bed Mesh Is now printing good again. ---

Spoke too soon. First item (small) printed good. 2nd, 3rd and 4th items (large) started ok but after 10 minutes or so were wiped off the plate. Very frustrating. ---

If you are using PLA, try bumping up the temperature 5c, So like 60c to 65c. The thermister can easily be off by 5 or 10c. Another thing to try, is to adjust the z-offset while it is printing the first layer. Maybe try doing some first layer test prints to get it dialed in. I am using and SV06, and I need glue sticks for large PLA prints. I put the gcode, in the slicer start settings, so it does a 25 point auto bed level before every print. When the z-axis is out of alignment use the soup can method to reset it. When the z-offset is off, I adjust it the way I described using first layer test prints. And when the build plate is dirty, I clean it with dish soap and water. I try to never touch the build plate with my fingers, as that puts oils on the build plate and prevents any material from sticking. I print PLA with temps set to 200c nozzel and 65c bed. ---
