# Preferred software version SV08?

@MikeHides Mike, I think you might be on to something. I had 0.1 kb free. I deleted the g-code files and did a test print with no errors! @cardoc @Lion I am going to wait to do the OS new imaging flashing procedure for now. I really appreciate everyone’s help!!!

I suggest that consider converting to mainline Klipper:

It looks intimidating at first but once you are done you are free from issues that Sovol’s version **WILL** cause down the road. If they don’t keep it current with Klipper (which they likely will not) you’ll be screwed eventually when something stops working because the firmware is too old. That happened to me on my SV07 but thankfully someone had done the hard work and prepared a mainline version. I haven’t had any firmware issues since, just hardware ones that are par for the course with Sovols.

@badunc Thanks for the suggestion. I was looking into that earlier in the troubleshooting. I’ll keep it in my mind if things go sideways again…Thanks!

I’m glad @MikeHides chimed in. It never occurred to me that all those file system errors was simply a lack of storage.
