# Original Build Plate Material On SV04?

For some reason, I purchased a new build plate for my SV04 a few months ago. It is a somewhat textured PEI plate. It was advertised as excellent adhesion. When I first started using it, the first layer stuck well and after the print finished, the part practically falls off after slight flex.
But… Now, I can’t even get the first layer to stick. I tried cleaning with a degreaser followed by 99% isopropyl alcohol, but I now think the original build plate sticks much better even if it takes a little more effort to release the print afterwards - Flexible plate helps.
What material is the original build plate that came with the SV04?

Have you tried a BIQU Cryogrip Plate? They work fairly well although i had to get one that was about 1cm shorter in the Y direction.
